Pre Lockdown Shoot

Writer: Justin MortimerJustin Mortimer

Here is a shot of the lovely Jayde, taken a year ago near the Samuel Beckett Bridge. This shot involved capturing the ambient light from the bridge and also using flash. Normally you would cut out the ambient light by using a faster shutter speed, but in this case you need to expose for the light around the background, it could be a sunset or sunrise either then introduce the flash. To get the bokeh in the background use a wider aperture like f2.8 or f1.8.
